It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been overwhelmed with many things. Also, I’ve been focusing on my marriage and my relationship with the LORD.

I pray that you’ve been focusing on the LORD as well.

I came across this great article on FamilyLife. Click the link and follow.

11 Rules on Marriage You Won’t Learn in School – FamilyLife.com.

Many people have the wrong concept of marriage and life. It’s great to have leaders we can look to that will guide us with the LORD as our ultimate guide.

God’s word tells us this:

  • Psalm 23:3 He [God] renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.
  • Psalm 48:14 For that is what God is like. He is our God forever and ever, and he will guide us until we die.
  • Psalm 73:24 You [GOD] guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny
  • Psalm 119:105 Your [GOD’s] word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
  • Psalm 119:133 Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.
  • Galatians 5:16-18 16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. 18 But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses.

So, you see, it’s a choice. Do you choose to follow the LORD and allow HIM to guide your footsteps, or do you choose not to?

I’ve been down this road. We all stumble and take the wrong direction. It’s what we do about it that matters. I’ve played out the wrong direction just out of curiosity. You’ve heard the expression “Don’t take my word for it”? Well, the enemy will entice you… then tell you not to take his word for it, check it out yourself. When all along the Holy Spirit inside you is saying “Stop, Danger!” The expression “a red flag went up” Is very important here.

Prayer: Dear Father God I lift up those going in the wrong direction. I pray that they quickly find the opportunity to change course and follow YOU, not the enemy and human nature. Thank YOU for the gift of salvation through Your son, Jesus. Thank You for show us and loving us. I thank You in advance for hearing and answering my prayer. In Jesus’ name, amen.
