It’s that time again. Five Minute Friday. We write for five minutes. Just write. Don’t worry about being perfect. It’s a way to share a message and practice writing to improve and bless others as well.

Today’s word prompt is: help.

Go!

It’s hard to do things alone. In Kate’s post she mentioned her daughter asking to help paint her bedroom. Then Kate mentioned how it would’ve been double the work if she did it alone.

God noticed the same thing for Adam when He created all the creatures when He was trying to create a suitable companion for Adam. This is what God did for Adam:

Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. … 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. 23 And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” 24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Having a helper in life is vital. Sure, one person can go at life alone. It is more work and takes longer to accomplish what can be done in half the time with a helper.

My husband and I compliment each other to accomplish things in life. What he’s good at I help him with. What I’m good at he helps me with. We work together to accomplish things.

That’s how God intended it to be.

Stop!

Now, just hold on there a minute. Please do not send me hate messages because you don’t agree with me. That’s simply a personal preference to believe what you do. That’s fine. We all have personal preferences. We like things to be a certain way, me included. This post is my belief and personal preference. Let’s leave it at that.

Have a happy and blessed day!
