“We are not walking in the Word if our thoughts are opposite of what it says. We are not walking in the Word if we are not thinking in the Word.” ― Joyce Meyer, Battlefield of the Mind: Winning the Battle in Your Mind
We must be in The Word every day to stay on top of the battle. Life can be chaotic. There are things that tempt us. There are situations that try our patience. The Word tells us in Romans:
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2
Jesus told his disciples and followers in the book of Mark:
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Mark 16:15
In those days most people walked everywhere, well, because, they didn’t have cars, trains, airplanes, and other motorized transport. Yes, they had camels, horses, donkeys, and boats. It all used manpower/animal power. Do you know how long it would take to “go into all the world” on foot, or use non-motorized transport, and get around the world? Well, there is that movie: “Around The World in 80 Days.” They used a hot air balloon to start out. However, they used steam trains, etc, with steam power. [In the original movie from 1956.] It took a very long time. It was their job. They lived The Word.
How do you walk in the Word and live out the Word?
