What happens when we don’t breathe? At some point, we die. Why? Well, because our organs need oxygen to survive. Especially, our lungs and heart.
Well, I think Yahweh for the gift of life. He breathed the life of Holy Spirit into me. I breathe because He gives me life. I quite enjoy breathing. I love to feel my breath moving from my mouth/nose down my windpipe into my lungs.
Did you know there are many types of breathing? I’ve learned a couple of ways to breathe that help me relieve stress and tension in my body and it helps me fall asleep.
What do you know about breathing? Please comment. I love to hear from my readers.

I’ve been learning to stop and do breathing exercises lately–it’s really opened my eyes up to the the gift of life bcs these breathing exercises give me time to recognize the value and gift of a simple breath. Missed all that in the busyness of life. Thanks for sharing!

Nice post. When it comes to breathing I think about how it is so very automatic to most of us. We don’t hardly think about it until we do. God’s presence is all around us too. When we take a moment to look, we see Him everywhere.

Yes, I’ve been practicing “Breath-Prayers” lately, and finding God’s help in those moments!

Great thoughts, Kimberly.
I use a meditative-type breathing when I can. Inhale through the nose to a count of four, hold for a count of four, exhale to four, and then hold the exhalation for the four-count.
It’s awkward at first, but after a surprisingly short time you don’t need to consciously count; your body adapts.
